Planes are brought in for regular maintenance every 6 months, and depending on the plane, they may stay for up to two weeks. More major maintenance is performed every four years.

The 787′s composite construction means it will need less maintenance over time, but they’re still taking very good care of these planes. Technology in the plane makes it easier to diagnose problems.
